"We had a large group that stayed there & everyone was happy with their stay. Specifically, with the staff. The young gentleman and young woman at the front desk on Saturday, March 28th were very welcoming and patient with so many of us arriving at the same time. Our bartender at arrival was also very attentive with our drink orders. Would definitely stay there again. The decor is beautiful and calming. And, great service goes a long way after a long train ride. "

"Staff didn’t tell us about restaurant being closed and didn’t know where we could go for food. The room was 81 degrees when we went to bed and finally cooled off by morning in spite of us turning it on at 5:00pm. We didn’t avail ourselves of the jacuzzi or pool, but it looked nice. The landscaping was also nice."

"What a wonderful find the Agave Inn was! Such lovely, supportive staff and the place is squeaky clean and tidy. It's a small, locally-owned place, but that seems to add to its appeal. It's ideally located to walk to places in and around town-- coffee/bakery 2 steps away, 3-4 great restaurants 2 blocks away, Trader Joes within 0.3 miles.. After spending inordinate amounts of money at higher-priced hotel chains and B-and B's in SB , with mediocre , lackluster experiences, we are definitely coming back to the Agave Inn."

"CLEANLINESS: Very clean! Noticed a few scuffs on the bathroom wall, and a hair on the bathroom floor. Overall, the room was very clean. ROOM: Very spacious, as we also had two dogs, a playpen, and a crate. There was enough room for my partner and I, that we didn't feel too cramped. The view of the mountain was amazing! Love that we could open the windows and get fresh air. The bathroom and shower were also spacious. I do wish that the water pressure was better, and the option for a hand-held shower was available. While the rain shower head is nice, it makes it difficult if you're trying not to get your hair wet. COMMUNICATION: Since the moment I booked, communication was a breeze. Everything is via text, which is nice. They do have automated texts for check-out, so if you have special accommodations (late check-out), it isn't reflected in that text. But I received prompt responses when I inquired. CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT: Very easy, as a code is sent to you. No staff on site. SECURITY: Several security cameras on site, which was nice since there is no staff on site. PARKING: Parking is limited and underground. The driveway is steep (so lowered cars, do not attempt!). They have more EV parking stalls, which made it difficult to park at times, NEIGHBORHOOD: The neighborhood was quiet, as there are business/offices surrounding Casa Riviera, and some residential. Walkable to shops and some restaurants. It would be about a 20min walk to the Funk Zone. "
