"Best Stay of Our Costa Rica Trip — Malekus Mountain Lodge This was, hands down, the best place we stayed during our 10 days in Costa Rica. Not only is the property itself beautiful, but we had the pleasure of being the only guests, so Roger and Rosy treated us like family. They helped us shape our itinerary to have a more authentic, local experience, and honestly ended up defining our whole trip. The rooms were comfortable — we had the one with a double bed plus a separate room with a bunk bed,...

"An absolute gem of a place. It is just as rustic as the photos suggest and that’s exactly the charm. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, immaculate property, stunning gardens. Also the best night sleep of our stay in Costa Rica hands down."

"This was a great place to truly experience the beauty of this part of Costa Rica. It is a long drive and one must be careful to take the right roads but we had a great experience and wish we could have stayed longer."

"Beautiful place. Amazing Views. So many activities and hikes close by. Especially loved the HotSprings. If you go early, you’ll enjoy them just for yourself."

"This place is a dream . Website Dosent do it justice , it’s a special place great for couples ."

"We really enjoyed our stay! Jorge made sure we had a pleasant stay and the staff was really nice. The unit we had was basic but clean, of a good size and well equipped. The breakfast was excellent (you can choose from 3 options) and we also had dinner there twice (there is nothing around), which was also good and well priced. We enjoyed the walking trails. It was a very relaxing stay. Note that the road to get to the ranch is bad so you need a 4x4. Even though it was remote, it was a great base...

"I loved the staff they were very friendly and kind rooms clean breakfast ok the don’t flush toilet paper was the only thing I didn’t like"

"This resort is amazing. You are so close to all the activities you would want to do! We came here for a girls trip and were not disappointed. We went tubing in the river, zip lining in the forest canyon, horse back riding, the national park with boiling mud beds 👀 and saw waterfalls that took our breath away! All of this is on the property that shuttles can take you too if you did not rent a vehicle. Plus restaurants on site and unforgettable service! Would recommend for families, solo...

"This place was more than amazing for us , the owner accommodated our 1 year old in everything we did , he was very kid friendly and made sure we did not want for nothing. Would 100 percent recommend this place specially for a family stay ! We will be booking again forsure"

"We had a great time."

"The room was nice and the breakfast very delicious. The pool was closed, there was no water in it maybe they renovate it, not sure. To get there is quite a long drive on gravel roads but we enjoyed seeing so many birds in the morning."

"Simple safe clean room Staff was helpful and great. Cup of coffee"
