"We had a wonderful experience at the Oltrarno Splendid. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great, and there was always fruit and goodies to munch on in the afternoon/evening. The entry to the building was very cool - felt like another era, and the decoration of the hotel is very interesting. Our rooms was very nice and spacious and we had a free bottle of Chianti, which was awesome."

"A really lovely room. We stayed in room 7, a large room overlooking the garden and river. A beautiful fresco on the ceiling and a giant comfortable bed. Lovely large doors and original shutters inside and out of window. Keep the windows closed though - even mid March the mosquito got a good feed on the first night. "Very cute suite with what we thought was a great location in Florence. Away from the hustle and bustle but very walkable to main sites and lots in the close vicinity as well. Claudia was a great host and very responsive. Beds were comfy’ linens and towels were good. We couldn’t use the AC as it was too early in the season. But the apartment cooled off very well at night. A lovely stay!"
