"overall its not bad....definitely good for a family however there's a few things I would like to mention that could have an impact for others wanting to book same place.
1. It's not the holiday Inn, its two separate businesses using the same building...some floors have hotel rooms, some have appartment rooms...I haven't see the hotel rooms so I cannot comment on that however I can say it feels misleading when you head into the lobby and they have elevators that are much fancier yet they tell...

"The overall stay was good but I just wish the check in process were better that they could have inform us a little bit earlier before we arrive or checked in. I emailed them before arrival but they reply really late. We stayed there from Sunday to Wednesday and there's a change in the gate code to get inside the building. They never informed us. They told me to email me the new code instead of just saying it directly and I waited for their email which never came. So I have to call them and ask...

"I did not follow the pre-registration instruction. That was on me. But I found the place. It would help if they posted a picture of the door. There were so many! But the place is just front row to the river. Once in, the place is just restored with great taste. I got the smallest unit, no views, first floor. But it is well appointed. The room windows face the busy alley, with restaurants and foot traffic but you can shutter them for sleeping. Good insulation, good AC. The wifi was iffy, but it...

"Wonderful experience. My 4 day 3 night stay exceeded expectations. The staff was friendly and helpful. I did not speak Portuguese but they had excellent command of English. The hotel is located in the perfect location near great restaurants, wonderful tourist attractions and perfect for local exploring. We were able to visit many attractions on our own (with the aid of Google maps) and enjoyed the freedom to do so. Very safe location and lots to do nearby. Loved it!!"
