"I think the hotel is either new or newly run as they seem to be finding their feet. Check-in was 3pm to 4pm and when I called to say I might be around 6:30, I was told "it's only hour and a half from Manchester" and "there might not be anyone here after 5pm". It felt a bit abrupt in all honesty but when I arrived around 5:30 (Friday school holiday traffic), they were pleasant enough. "To tall for the shower I am only 6ft.room was on the small side.miss leading on meals as they was no where at the hotel for meals as the pictures on the advertisement showed .you have to go off site for breakfast.Does not mention this on the advertisement.as I’m disabled it was very difficult to open the door into the room as it was catching on the floor.there was no wardrobe to hang any clothes."

"Had a very nice stay here. It is the first time we stayed. We had a larger room. It was very clean & newly decorated, such a bonus. For the price it was excellent, would recommend it. Staff were friendly. It was a good location for the town. Meals available, we did not use the these facilities, so carn't comment. We would stay here again. "

Check in involved long queues, and when we finally got to our rooms, the rooms were doubles but should have been twins. Housekeeping couldn’t be reached and left a message as instructed, and when we returned later that evening, nothing had been changed. One room also had a strong drain smell.
