"First off the place has limited parking. First come first serve. Don’t park in the corner spot or you will get blocked in and can’t get out. Three stories and not Handicap friendly. Rooms are large and come with a tv, internet, coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. Room was clean but could use some attention to detail. Meaning clean baseboards and food on wall. "The room was very clean and looked like it was recently renovated. There were also no odors, which is important to us as we are allergic to pets and dislike the smell of smoke. I personally liked that the room didn’t have carpeting as it made for a cleaner floor. The motel is on a semi busy street so there is some street noise but the motel was thoughtful enough to provide ear plugs for those who needed it. There are also limited parking spots that’s offered on a first come first served basis....

"The location was amazing. If you are looking for something close to fisherman's wharf, this is great. There is a bus stop right outside, and the bus takes you to the wharf (and back) quickly. The neighborhood seemed safe. Parking was limited, but I did get a spot, and there were cameras and lights on the cars. The room itself was very large - we had 2 beds a couch, desk / chair and tv, and there was a lot of floor space."

"This room was very disappointing. Immediately upon entering our room, the main overhead lights did not work along with the bedside lamps. Then, we noticed the deadbolt had by torn off from the outside and was missing. FYI, we are two people staying not the first floor. The toilet seat was also severely damaged along with the sink. Upon brining these issues to the attention of the from desk, they stated that there was nothing they could do as they were at full capacity. Also, they only now told...

"Horrible stay they only had dorms left after I booked a private said it was dorms for 50 extra private with TV wifi 6 blocks away the room just bed TV not working wifi said had to be closer the manager said no refund and I had a room take it or get out after q3 hours shift I had to stay work 8am next day or i would have left"

"This hotel is a charming landmark, renovated old hotel in a location that is very convenient to eighth Street and Golden Gate Park. It is well appointed, with clean, comfortable rooms and has a period charm. The staff is very accommodating. There is a dining room where a better than average breakfast is available every morning and you can bring your own food and eat there. It is very pleasant and well lit. The breakfast are generous and there are snacks available all day. I highly recommend it."
