"Room looks nothing like when you book from the website"

"The owner made us very welcome on arriving. It was lovely to stay in a well maintained old property (16th century) with great character, with a welcoming open fire in the general sitting / dining area. The bedroom window provided some lovely views of the fells. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices. Eggs were provided by the free roaming hens in the garden."

"I had a room with paper-thin walls. I could hear my next-door room neighbors late into the evening...they were just having a normal decibel conversation but the walls were so thin between us that it was all disruptive to falling asleep. I found the main manager when I checked in a bit off-putting. Her Fri comment that "I'm off after today and I need it" (in so many words), typified her manner throughout all interactions.
