"Beautifully manicured grounds on arrival. Easy parking outside our cottage. Good sized bathroom with plenty of hot water and nice toiletries. Well appointed kitchenette and we had to ask for just a couple of essential items. Nice balcony surrounded by trees. "I booked this hotel specifically for the plunge pool. It's a beautiful property with beautiful views. It is secluded. The room and pools were clean. The selection of food was ok. I did order the lobster our last night (for an extra charge) which was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. We also booked a couples massage. That was nice and relaxing. However, the resort ran out of vodka twice during our stay. This is the only alcohol my husband drinks. Which was disappointing for him. The rooms however clean and nice could use some upgrades to the sinks and shower. Our shower drain was broke off and the corners were sharp. Also the patio is slippery when wet. Be carful getting out the pool. I'm not sure how you get down to the beach from the resort aside from taking a car. The beach was unappealing. There was a lot of sargassum and barriers to help keep it from shore (I get this is nature). Also we were told by security at the beach bar that it was closed permanently. Also the pool at the beach bar is for residents only. Not a problem for us since we rented a car and beach hopped. The best part of our stay was the power snorkeling with sea turtles. This excursion does NOT pickup from this hotel. Despite some of the negatives we enjoyed our stay."
