The only thing that worked was the heater...until it didn’t. The absolute freezing temperature in the meat locker, I mean, bathroom caused me to check out a day esrly. This was after a breaker immediately popped when the provided coffee maker was turned on. The power was restored but then the refrigerator was left unplugged by the staff and defrosted on the floor. The refridger outlet made popping sounds all night.

Too cold, not good at all for the money I paid. even nobody to complain.we are out side by the door for two hour in cold weather. Even when I took a shower in supposedly hot water it still remains cold. No staff around to help out either, and the T.V keeps freezing.

I know people are picky about beds, but the bed situation here was something else entirely. Marshmallow-soft, extremely sinky, to the point where it was hard to move around and even sit up. And I'm a lightweight! The foam basically cocoons you. It's a cozy space, but you'll likely be in for a rough sleep and some back pain.

The whole process was really not good. The instructions for checking in and getting a key was lacking, leaving us rather stranded in front waiting for some level of communication. The pre-call was both inconvenient (customer service at the convenience of the company, not the customer) and problematic (call was dropped 4 times, eventually they gave up on providing any instructions). The bed had someone's hair in it, it looked like it had been slept in, only straightened, not well made. The coffee machine in the room was broken and dirty from previous guests also seemingly trying to make it work.

We made 2 bookings at the Art Inn, from Oct. 12 to 13 for 2 persons and parking, and from Oct. 13 to 14 for 1 person, no parking. We arrived at the Art Inn on Oct. 12 around 5pm, at that time the outside temperature was 54 degrees. Entering the room it turned out that it was not heated. (Heat and Air-Conditioning was supposedly provided by an old-fashioned wall unit.) We tried for a while to turn on the heat, following the posted instructions, but failed. Eventually we contacted the management who told us to do what we had already done repeatedly. We tried for another hour to get the heat working but failed. During the exchanges we also found out a weird feature of their heating system: "Our AC system is interconnected so all machines in the building need to be on the same setting" and "Someone in another room changed the setting"... How can that be ? Eventually, around 6:30 pm, we decided to leave. Only then a different room was offered but there was no indication if the heat in this room was working and/or if it had the same weird feature. So we left around 6:40 pm after another failed attempt to get the heat to work. The management offered refund for the first but not the second night. We feel that it is the responsibility of the hotel to make sure that a room is in order BEFORE a guest arrives. The ART INN has definitely failed in this aspect. Demanding a refund for the second day is the least we can ask for as a compensation for the waste of time, freezing, an

It’s ok. The room itself was reasonably clean, though the smell of bleach was so strong when I first came in I had to open windows wide for a hot minute. The app-driven door locks were frustrating at first but I got the hang of it. There doesn’t seem to be any staff, so thankfully I never let my phone charge run out completely. The parking area is terrible. Broken vehicle glass in the parking spot, and the alley it’s in is mostly impassable without off-road capable vehicle. On the other hand the location is convenient.

The exterior areas were well maintained but the room was not. A significant ceiling area had been patched and not painted, the shower was dirty with rusted/stained hardware and curtain. The bed was comfortable and clean but given the state of conditions otherwise, it was an uncomfortable stay.

Unmarked Soap, Otherwise Great

Everything was good, I've stayed here many times, but since the last time I stayed they got rid of the tiny soaps which is good, but just have unlabeled bottles of soap/lotion/shampoo so it was tough to know what was in each one.
