"We were warmly welcomed by Sophia who was excellent in handling our check-in. We checked in bit late but nevertheless she was very helpful in giving us our keys very fast and guiding us to our room. "The property is not a hotel. There is no reception and no service is provided at the property. You rent a room. There is no air conditioning and it was very hot. Our room was in the 4th floor and there is no elevator after the 3rd floor. The ceilings in our room were slanted both in the bathroom and bedroom and it is hard to avoid hitting the ceiling. The location also is not ideal."

"Sehr schöne Lage! Zimmer war sehr groß und gut ausgestattet. Frühstück war recht reichhaltig. Nur leider wurden uns mitten beim frühstücken die Teller vor der Nase weggenommen, weil es hieß wir sollten uns bitte an einen anderen Tisch setzen. (ein anderes Paar ebenfalls) Der Tisch an dem wir saßen war nicht reserviert o.ä. Könnte man für die Zukunft dann besser beschriften oder bereits beim Eintreten kurz anmerken."

"Great position on the Lake with easy access into Luzern, CHF4 each way. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with standalone Aircon which proved useful during our visit. Be aware most room do not have an unrestricted view of the lake due to a property in front of the hotel. Breakfast is taken across the road at the old hotel, but is good. The restaurant is in the same location across the road and we had a reasonable meal there. There is also a good Brazilian restaurant nearby. Be aware...

"Everything about the hotel was perfect and very comfortable. The access to the train and major sightseeing spots was excellent. The only thing that concerned me was that the faucet in the bathroom sink was corroded and broken, making it unstable and a bit unclean. However, since everything else was perfect, it was still acceptable overall."

"Helaas voldeed Romantik Hotel Beau Rivage niet aan onze verwachtingen. Het hotel ligt mooi aan heg meer. Maar wordt matig onderhouden. Toen we aankwamen en vanwege de hitte een drankje wilde bestellen gaf het hiervoor aanwezige personeel aan dat we nog een half uurtje moesten wachten. Zij hadden namelijk pauze. Ook het driegangen diner waarvoor we voor twee personen meer dan 175 Zwitserse Franken moesten betalen voldeed absoluut niet aan de verwachtingen. Kortom een teleurstellende ervaring."

"It’s a dormitory really with a common bathroom on the floor. A little more clarity from the very beginning would have been nice. Otherwise, it said that the booth room was in another room. Too expensive for a dorm. Excellent breakfast though! Clean rooms. "
