"We chose Grand Mercure Seminyak Beach as our final stop in Bali before returning to Australia, and it was a lovely way to finish our holiday.
The location was perfect — right on the border of Seminyak and Legian, so we loved being able to enjoy the mix of both areas, while also being so close to the beach.
We upgraded to a water-view room, which was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. Our only concern was that we weren’t told the upgraded room wasn’t quite ready until after agreeing to the upgrade, which would have been helpful to know beforehand. The room was also extremely hot when we entered due to the card-operated electricity and air-conditioning, although it cooled down eventually.
The facilities were lovely and the spa was a real highlight. Beautiful facilities and our treatment was an absolutely delicious treat to end the holiday!
Staff were friendly and very attentive — perhaps a little overly attentive at breakfast when we would have preferred to relax without quite so many check-ins, but clearly well intentioned.
Overall, a beautiful stay with a fantastic location, lovely facilities and wonderful spa. A great final stop in Bali!"
