Okay but less that expectation
The room was extremely dark overlooking an office meeting room, and we were charged 22,000 won extra for a blanket request, which turned out to be additional duvet. Although the hotel is clean and warm, I doubt I will be returning to this hotel

It was very convenient since the hotel is located in front of subway station. In addtion, the big park is available near the hotel, so that I did jogging every morning.

We only stayed here for our last night in Seoul. The beds were the best we had. Conveniently located near a subway station and restaurants. Staff were also friendly. The overall design features black/dark walls with dim/softer lighting if you like that.

Overall it was good. But the soundproof is not good. Some noise from next room and leaking water dropping sound was all night long.

(1) Nothing special apart from near to The Hyundai Seoul, and highlight of some design awards. (2) However, we experienced local guests rudeness, and they don't que to get into the lifts, the lifts are super slow during peak hour that made it a disastrous situation for some people. Not recommended for family with children, mostly seeing young couple n group of hipster friends. Staffs on duty wouldn't assist in managing(they were few of them available ( /-10pm), the lifts lobby is just right next to the front desk). Some impatience guests took the lifts down to basement and to go up to their room level. (3) Selective staffs with basic english communication skill could help to call taxi.

Property was generally ok but there was an issue with air conditioning. I stayed for 3 nights at GLAD Yeouido and the airconditioning was off throughout making the room stuffy and unbearable. The first night, I was told that the airconditioning was centrally controlled and they cannot adjust it for my room, but on further probing they said they will send down an engineer, who never came. The second night, I spoke to reception again who now claimed that the airconditioning was down and there was nothing they could do. When I checked out finally, I saw another customer enquiring the same issue with the front desk, and they gave the "central control problem and will send engineer" response. It seems to me that this is a persistent problem which they do not intend to solve. Would not want to stay here again.

Very conveniently located near a subway station and many many coffees shops, restaurants, etc. Staffs are very nice and helpful. It is relatively close to Incheol airport so if you take a taxi, it would cost 50,000 won.

I stayed at Glad house room so the room came with washing machine and kitchenette. They said they no longer offer wine glasses because of corona if i remember it correctly, but i dont understand why because the room had cups for drinking water. And there was no cooktop so you cannot expect to cook in the room. And they don’t offer disposable amenities which was fine but 2 out of 3 refillable containers were empty so i could only use shampoo and no body wash. Overall, i liked my stay here because of the price and a nice claning lady.

GLAD I stayed at GLAD Yeouido!
It was really nice staying at GLAD Yeouido. I had an opportunity dining at their Japanese restaurant Akii, and they were giving 10% discount for the people staying at the hotel. The food was top-notch, so I would recommend going for a late-night meal(LO is at 11:40p, and the restaurant closes at 1am). Not only that, I got an upgrade for my room too so it was really good. I appreciate the hospitality as well as the quality of the stay I experienced at GLAD Yeouido. Highly recommend.
