The hotel and staff are excellent. Not the most happening neighborhood. But I chose the hotel for its location- right next to the Yongsan train/subway station and that served its purpose well.

Excelent hotel with easy access to Metro and Train
Wonderful stay at this hotel. It is located near Yongsan station (KTX/ITX/ Metro Line 1)with easy access through the walkway(on exit 3), hence even if the weather is bad, you will have no problem. Escalators and elevator are at the end and you can go to the Seoul Dragon city which means in fact all 3 Accor hotels and Lucky Seven casino. Ipark Mall is also accessible by exit 1 from the same Metro Station and after another 300m you will gent to Sinyongsan station (Metro line 4). Bed is very comfortable and 4 pillows were provided. Big apartment with plenty of storage options. Nice view from the windows as it was located on the 18th floor. From our windows we were able to see N tower, and from the other side I presume you can see Han River. Bathroom is big too, with shower, bathtub and WC with bidet functions. Ammenities kit is provided free of charge and replenished as needed. Towels are fluffy and robes are also available. Breakfast provided is excelent and plenty options are available for westerners and koreans: several types of bread, soups, eggs and live egg station, salami, ham, bacon, sousages, yogurts, pastry, various type of jam, honey, fresh juice (orange, apple,grapefruit), coffee machine, fruit cuts, s.o. Room is cleaned on daily basis and they are doing a very good job. Slippers are also provided. Smoking area is near by (near the entrance of Seven Luck Casino and the rest of the hotels). We will choose the same hotel next time.

만족스럽지못했어요.
추석때 친척방문을 위해 디럭스 스위트에 묶었습니다. 처음방문전 차량을 두대 주차할수도 있는상황이어서 호텔에 전화를 걸어 문의했는데, 디럭스스위트라고 얘기했는데도 객실당 차량한대만 주차가능하다는 답변을 받았습니다. 나중에 체크인할때 두 대가능 하다는 말을듣고 어이가없어ㅆ습니다. 이게 시작이었죠. 샤워실은 막혀있어서 물이 넘쳐날까 조마조마 했었고, 비데는 동작도 안됐고, 에코프렌들리 대용량 바디워시는 고장나 펌핑이 안됐고, 드라이어는 플러그 꽂자마자 과열로 타는 냄새가나서 급히 플러그를 뽑았습니다. 이런일이 오성호텔에서 일어날 수있는 일인지 당황스러웠습니다. 체크아웃때 상황을 설명드렸으나, 형식적인 죄송합니다란 사과밖에 없어서 다시는 이호텔에 머물고 싶지않다는 생각이 들게했습니다

We traveled from America to Korea for 3 weeks I have experienced many hotels while visiting Korea twice a year..There was no hotel that made me want to go again. But this time..This is the first hotel that gave me a comfortable and good image from beginning to end We finally found the hotel we wanted Everyone in every hotel is kind. It's clean. The bed is comfortable enough to make you want to bring a mattress. It's cleaned well, and the laundry is hung in the closet when I come back in the afternoon. They even received the package, so in front of the room!! I'm here.. It's the best!! The transportation is great and there are various games to play with children around. Of course, the swimming pool in the hotel is also a safe and good place to stay with children. Of course, I won't have to look for another place in the future Thank you.

As you know, Corona 19 has spread, and hotel guests and staff are also going to undergo PCR tests recently. There is absolutely no reason why the hotel doesn't accept guests who come with a good mind like you. The Grand Mercure Hotel is located in Yongsan-gu, so we have no choice but to follow the instructions of Yongsan-gu Office, and we ask for your understanding as the process is very difficult for the hotel staff as well. The 1st reservation for one night is definitely in the process of being refunded, and the 2nd and 3rd reservations have been canceled without any problem. We appreciate your kind understanding. We’ve stayed at a few Accor Hotels throughout Asia in the past (Novotel Hotel and Resorts) BUT the Grand Mercure Ambassador Hotel and Residences Seoul Yongsan exceeded our expectations for what a hotel could ever offer. We were blown away at the level of customer service and detail that was provided by the staff upon check-in and throughout our stay, as well as the number of amazing amenities the hotel had onsite (Rooftop Bar/Lounge/Restaurant, Gym, Virtual Golf Driving Range + Baseball Batting Cage, Yoga, Spa, etc.) AND in the room (Full kitchen, washer/dryer, new in-room slippers daily, etc.). Great location - this hotel was among three hotels connected directly to Yongsan Subway/KTX Station AND shopping mall. Views of the city of Seoul were AMAZING, even from the shower! Will def. stay here again next time we visit Seoul or any Grand Mercure hotel for our next vacation. If you’re on the fence on this hotel because of the price, don’t think twice. You get what you pay for AND it’s so worth it. Keep up the great work!

Wonderful property! We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite and had so much space and it was very clean. We also enjoyed the pools, huge gym, children’s library and baseball simulator. We had a massage at the spa which was wonderful too. The facilities are clean and serviced well. The Executive Lounge was large and there was plenty of food and lots of variety, certainly one of the best we have experienced in our travels. Service was excellent across the property. We also enjoyed the Ribbon restaurant in the adjoining building (in Novotel). It was an easy connecting walk to Yongsan station and I’Park Mall with countless shops and eateries plus a supermarket (EMart in the basement). Taxis were affordable and the hotel is well located to major sights. Yongsan is on line 1 and only a few stops away to downtown. The only potential drawback is you couldn’t really walk around locally to nice restaurants but that didn’t concern us for our stay.

Great city view.
Coming from Japan, we missed having a bathtub. But the shower had a marvelous view of the city, which is probably more memorable in the end. Also that the Incheon Airport bus goes directly to the hotel and is the first stop going back was very nice!
