"A brand new property that was amazing value for money. Rooms are so spacious for such a convenient location, and the little kitchen, which we didn’t use, looked to have everything you’d need for cooking. Breakfast the next morning was high quality and tasty. Only improvement would be the gym which was a bit empty and soulless. "

"This boutique hotel has a lot of cute trinkets, unique paintings, and thoughtful design touches that gave it a lot of character. It definitely has a warm, artistic vibe that stands out from typical chain hotels. My room was located on the 4th floor, but be aware that the elevator only goes up to the 3rd. I had to carry my luggage up another floor from stairs, which can be a bit of a hassle if you have large suitcases. I’d recommend requesting a room on a lower floor if mobility or luggage is...

"From the moment we arrived all the staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was of a good size, lovely views and very clean. We had an evening meal in the dining room, which was of excellent quality. The ambience in the restaurant was lovely. We were not disappointed, in fact Hotel and staff exceeded our expectations. The grounds, including the country club, it’s worth walking around. The Ashdown Forest is a very beautiful setting , lots of walks."
