"Staff was nice. Room wasn't the cleanest but it was ok. Coffee pot was missing in our room. Some thug probably stole it. Who knows. But I would stay there again. If you want freedom over luxury at a good price this is your place. Enjoyed the pool and the lake view. If you want a good lake view make sure you get one of the rooms on the top level. The lack of bed bugs warmed my heart. Thank you Hawks nest!"

"The place is, overall, run-down. "Pet-friendly" meant paint clawed by someone's animal was not repainted and hair still evident in the door frame. No carpet in the room. Broken tile in the floor and the shower curtains were stained. It smells bad - dirty, old cooking funk. Daily cleaning did not include the floor. "The hotel was very ran down. The pool was not operational and had algae in it. The room had cockroaches and was filthy. Didn’t look like it had been cleaned in a very long time. I was so unhappy about my stay. I will never stay there again and will alert all my contacts to never ever ever stay there either."
