"Really quaint old inn with lots of exposed stone walls & beams. Staff were super friendly & helpful - really warm welcome & nothing was too much trouble. Bed very comfortable & the small double room I had was perfect just for me. Food in the restaurant was delicious & there was a good choice. Breakfast plentiful, well presented & hearty. "Great location for park and ride into Bath. We stayed in the main building-this was a mistake. It was noisy-the annex (where we have stayed before) is much better. "The hotel is not the olde worlde building shown on some sites, it is a modern motel style property with a Hungry Horse food area. There is very little within walking distance. It is very close to Bristol airport so on the flight path and has a busy road in front, so even though the garden is pleasant (furniture not brilliant) it is quite noisy. At the time we were there there was a construction site next door so that also added to the noise. Food is average but realistically priced."
