"Lovely room at top, very spacious, extremely comfortable bed, bathroom spacious. Cooked breakfast was superb and beautifully presented. Staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Weeny downside, I had already paid via Expedia, my partner didn't realise, and when checking in, whilst I was elsewhere, paid for the room. Luckily he mentioned it later, and it got sorted and refunded. Would definitely stay there again, beautiful old building, and although a pub was very quiet in our room, ...

"This is a 600 year old hotel. Dont let the facade fool you. It has incredible charm. The property is well maintained and the obvious age makes the experience unique. The room was spotless and well appointed. The bar and reception was warm. I loved my stay here and will be returning if im back."

"I was not aware an airport shuttle was available at this hotel. Despite my room being nicely oresented and clean my stay was poor because, having an early flight the next morning I needed to sleep but as the sound proofing was non existent the guests simply walking in the room above me prevented me from sleeping...the noise was unbearable, I did not sleep at all and the bed was so hard I was forced to wrap the thin duvet around me for some comfort. There was no temperature control to the room...
