"Agree entirely with a previous review. Not an hotel, just a B&B with bar and a very limited menu. The proprietess wanted to talk at us. The son, considerably older than 21, came up to us in the bar and said his mother would be with us soon to serve us drinks. Clearly he was not authorized to. Why? So we waited another 5 --10 mins for her to appear. No hot water in room - neither shower nor wash basin. It’s clean, well maintained (including air con), has welcoming helpful staff (all areas), ample parking, local shops & such quiet sound proofed rooms (even with the 1980s rave the floor below). My child slept & wasn’t woken up by daylight, noise, the stifling heat or worries about cleanliness. Plus they could have a bath. Win."

"Nice modern, quirky hotel in great location for City Centre, Hoe and Barbican. Staff were friendly and helpful. The bar area, that is also for check-in, has some really good seating areas for work or chilling. Room was great - very clean, comfy bed and good shower. On-site parking was easy, although it is £10 a day. It was a perfect stay for our needs."

"This is a gr8 place to relax or play a round of golf. The staff are very helpful. The hotel rooms are lovely. They are not huge but have enough room to feel comfortable. There are 2 golf courses here. The Kernow course is a good test of your golf whatever handicap you have.
