APA Hotel & Resort Osaka Namba Ekimae Tower

APA Hotel & Resort Osaka Namba Ekimae Tower

10/10 Excellent
"Excellent hotel in the lively area of Namba in Osaka. The hotel is very new and well maintained. We had spacious and comfortable connecting rooms. The onsen was great: too bad that the geometry of the hotel (a tower, as the name says) did not allow for a rotenburo (open-air onsen). Overall, absolutely excellent. One thing that caught me off-guard: the booking person’s passport was required. It had never occurred to me in 25 years of travel to Japan and apparently it is a new rule in Osaka Prefecture. I was travelling out of our base in Kobe and so I did not bring my passport with me. I fortunately always have scans of alla family members’ passports in my phone, so we could solve that. Make sure to have your passport with you!"

HOTEL UNIVERSAL PORT

HOTEL UNIVERSAL PORT

10/10 Excellent
"The staff at Universal Port Hotel were very proactive about approaching guests to see if they needed anything at all. They were also extremely helpful with any questions we had from arranging airport transfers to reuniting us with luggage we forwarded two days before from Tokyo. Everything went smoothly from check in to check out. The City Walk offered a variety of dining options and the Rex cafe inside of the hotel was both affordable and delicious. The facility was clean and well maintained although only slightly dated. The provided toiletries available in the lobby were very convenient. Lastly the proximity to the train station and to Universal studios made this hotel ideal for our stay based on what we had planned!"

"Lovely place in a great location. Clean and nice room. Perfect for our 3 days in Osaka. Staff are helpful, friendly and polite and location was fantastic. Downstairs is shopping mall and restaurants, that was fantastic. Very busy place but not noisy at all. Well worth it."

Kobe Portopia Hotel

Kobe Portopia Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Stayed on 17th floor facing airport, amazing views, great amenities, a massive hotel with normal big hotel amenities (laundry service only). Comfortable beds and pillows. One downside was walls between rooms super thin, lady in room next door coughed all night long 😞, limited sleep had."

Hotel Keihan Universal Tower

Hotel Keihan Universal Tower

8/10 Good
"Hotel is good love the location. The breakfast buffet is somewhat awful and I would certainly skip especially for the price they charge. Lots of food options around right out the door. Beds were not very comfortable and pillows were rocks. Other than that great location would probably try one of the other hotels next time but it wasn’t bad and would stay again for sure. They won’t let you check in early either 3pm and it’s a big line as everyone is just waiting…"

ART HOTEL Osaka Bay Tower

ART HOTEL Osaka Bay Tower

10/10 Excellent
"My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Art Hotel. Our double room was spacious enough for two people and impeccably clean. The view from our room was amazing and especially beautiful at night. The hotel itself is luxurious. The lobby is beautifully decorated. It was also very convenient as the hotel was near so many stores and restaurants and Solaniwa Onsen. Definitely would stay here again!"
