"The property as a whole far exceeded our expectations. I SO wish we would have planned to stay longer! It's even more beautiful than in the photos. Highly recommend staying here as an adventure base, but also be sure to build in some time to just sit and relax in your gorgeous room or the living room, with the beautiful views and a book + tea or coffee."

"Staff were friendly but we paid a premium for this stay and we don't think it was worth almost double every other location we stayed. Things not working in the bathroom, old shower over bath combo. Breakfast was good but we found much better restaurants in the area for dinner. Think we just had higher hopes for the place based on the pictures and price."

"The public areas are ok, the rooms were basic but clean, and the staff is friendly. The breakfast was great! Views of the lock are lovely. However, we had 2 rooms. One was renovated, the other not and the difference was noticeable. One room did not have a working bathroom fan, heated towel rack and had the loudest floors I have ever heard.
