Nice Geylang Area Hotel

My most recent stay at Aqueen Heritage Hotel was very satisfying. Hotel lobby and room are clean and welcoming as always. Great shopping and eateries are close by. As usual, Mr. Hamid is very welcoming and friendly, making the stay even more pleasant.

room super small compared to last time i stay, only bed almost near to to wall, only have 1 side can go up to bed. no place to open my luggage. Lighting at toilet too dark. Sound prove need to improve, can heard sound from beside room and door bang sound and person talk at walkway.

Nice place but could do with some improvements

Place looks better then normal stay hotels, but could have some improvements. 1) the room I stayed (318) can't watch YouTube or netflix with the smart TV, would be nice if there's cable channels other then local channels. 2) at early morning some one tried to open my room room. Luckyly I latched the door. Think it was a staff cos mumbled about open wrong room. 3) been 3 weeks and my deposit has not been returned. Overall I'm still happy. Would return again soon.

Clean property but difficult to contact them by phone for reservations due to limited opening hours. Breakfast was luke warm and limited in choice. Otherwise clean, accessible and safe.

I think over all my sty was satisfactory and it’s a reasonable price hotel. Amenities are also close by and ease of traveling too. Room itself was neat and clean. I would definitely consider again.

Dated and overpriced

The carpet looks to be from 60 years ago and the bathroom floor wasn't very clean. The Wi-Fi keeps dropping connection and the connections is often slow. The staff would also rarely smile or even try to acknowledge your presence. I also went in expecting that the laundry would be by weight but it was by piece... It would have cost me over 120 for a small laundry. The bed was comfortable though... Overall, it is a very dated hotel that is way overpriced.

Affordable and comfortable

I booked Queen bed room. The room is clean and neat. Although is small room but still comfortable. TV only broadcast SG channels. Bed is soft enough for me and not too hard. Only the pillow too soft to me. Their staff are polite and helpful.

Nice boutique hotel

Great boutique hotel in Geylang Serai. Good food is plentiful in the area. Good transportation links as well. And Mr. Hamid was very welcoming. Room was compact but sufficient.

Nice and comfy place for staycation

Location is good. Have place to eat and drinks within walking distance. Room maybe slightly small. But good for couple.

Nice little hotel ...

We had a very nice stay. Hotel was very easy to find, 2 minutes to Bus Stops, Convenience store across the street, front desk staff was very courteous and helpful, room was very clean and had all needed amenities like nice air conditioning, refrigerator, safe, etc. Only negative is very small room size as already mentioned in many other reviews but that was not an issue for us as we mainly use a hotel to sleep and freshen up. Will stay again.

Toilet drain smell and theres worm.

The toilet shower area theres small type of worm at the floor everyday wash away but still comeback the following day and the drain floortrap smell. Other than that convenient area nearby theres foodcourt, cafe, coffeehouse, supermarket and apparel and textile marker

My stay at the aqueen

My stay was very good. Staff was great. I was only disappointed about two things. The hotel did.not have face towels or enough electrical outlets. I would stay here again. This time I would bring my own face towel and power strip (smile)

The hotel is a bit overpriced. By paying a little more, you could get a hotel with a swimming pool and other facilities. However, Joo Chiat (the Malay quarter) is a charming area, where you can actually feel like you’re in old Singapore. And the hotel captures that nostalgia. Though the rooms are new and small, they’re decorated in a 1950’s fashion. The king size bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. Also, the lobby was big and appealing. I didn’t eat the buffet breakfast, as it didn’t look that great. Restaurants galore in the neighborhood. But few serve breakfast.

Close to Joo Chiat Complex and eateries

We were offered immediate accommodation in worse room that we did not pay for, after negotiating we waited for our room to be ready for us. The experience was improved after that.

Well-connected, warm hospitality

Near eateries, buses, MRT. We stayed here for a week and happily extended our stay twice. It's rare seeing such a great team from front desk to room staff who helped ensure we got the best stay possible. our daughter even made great friends with Malar who impressed us with her attention to detail and daily cheer. Thanks also to the manager Hamid who was always on hand to anticipate our needs.
