"Rooms were nice and staff was friendly. Property was fine. They are definitely on vacation time as meals are slow (2+ hours for a meal). The restaurants leave a bit to be desired. Poesia was not great at all - probably the worst meal in our party we had in the whole island and the worst Italian. The place is new but the chef is trying to be too creative with limited access to ingredients. A few people had a shrimp dish with tomatoes and no-one had tomatoes in it. Azure is okay - mediocre. "This place is amazing and a true gem. Not only is the architecture impressive but the way it blends with the sea is perfection. The Crane has a small town feel to it; you don’t have to leave the property for dinner, shopping, drinks or music."

"The rooms have been considerably upgraded and are much more comfortable than before Marriott took over. But the use of buffet-dinner arrangements at premium prices is disappointing and not good value for money. You don't pay these sorts of prices to have to serve yourself. Apart from the room renovation the hotek is not much improved from the Elegant days but is much more expensive. "

"The staff was very friendly and helpful, mostly Joy who would make me coffee in the morning. The guys who worked at the bar night or day where great as well. The lady staff who cleaned the rooms on the 2nd floor was a gem. The food was excellent as well. A small all inclusive boutique resort that was well staffed, clean and comfortable. "

The ocean is clear; the all inclusive snorkelling, tubing, paddle boarding were fantastic. The food was fabulous; healthy, tasty, so many options.
