"The staff was very nice, the room simple but clean. They provide a free appetizer and cocktail. However, when you get to the bar, the appetizer is one minimal choice, and the drink is a 10oz beer or small cocktail. "

"The property was excellent with views of the Sedona mountains all around. Lobby, room, and staff were all very nice. I didn’t notice when I booked that they charge $25/day for parking. The bar had a sign for Happy Hour but the only discount was $2 off an appetizer. A bucket of beer was shown on the Happy Hour sign but there was no discount from the cost of an individual beer $8 x 6 = $48. I don’t know why they call it Happy Hour?"

"We really enjoyed our stay, the Highlands is in a great location for accessing hikes and other attractions. Old town Cottonwood is nearby with shops and restaurants. The property is clean and quiet. Our room was nice with a large living area and kitchen. Sedona is easy to get to from the Highlands. "

"Conveniently located and accesorized well enough for a short stay for 3 people. We ate breakfast each day in the unit but was a little short on what we needed to cook a full meal. Also would have preferred a door to the bedroom instead of just a curtain and the bathroom was oddly placed on the far side of the bedroom from the main room which meant our friend had to traipse through our bedroom for his nocturnal old man bathroom visits. The pool and hot tub or excellent and we really appreciated the adults only Lagoon Spa hot tub for soaking Under the Stars."
