"I was very surprised at the horrible conditions of this hotel. I've stayed at Holiday Inn Express before it was a very nice experience. However, this DC East Andrew's AFB hotel is not good. The carpets in the hallways were smelly and dirty, and the room's carpeting was no different. The room smelled moldy, and the refrigerator did not work, so I had to call for maintenance. "Booked a non smoking room but it was definitely smoked in. Ash trays on both sides of the bed. Wobbly desks and chairs. Shower curtain had red marks (not sure if it was blood residue or not), it was torn in multiple places. My clothes smelt like smoke for days even though I checked out same day. Pillows were not bed pillows but looked like couch decor pillows. Im still trying to get my refund but it is a NIGHTMARE!"

"The room was dirty. There were insects everywhere. The bed sheets and towels had hair on them so clearly they weren’t washed. The sink didn’t have cold water. The door didn’t close so it needed to be deadbolted to lock. Didn’t feel safe, don’t recommend."

"I liked that the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The pool was clean and the lounge chairs were fine. The pool area needs a couple of tables and umbrellas. The breakfast was fine but wish they had better syrup for the waffles . Overall I would stay there again"

"The front part was ok, but the price we paid wasn’t worth it. The beds wasn’t comfortable, we pull the sheets back in both beds it was hair in the bed…the furniture needs to be updated… the bathroom the shower curtain was dirty and we seen a roach in the bathroom."

"The AC did not blow. It sucked. The evening ended up a little warmer than expected. The prostitute standing outside of our room sucked less than the AC did. We’ve stayed in worse places but the staff was nice. The hotel was located behind an abandoned bank. That was kind of odd. It served it’s purpose."

"This property seemed brand new, very clean and quiet. Staff were friendly. Location is right near the ballpark neighborhood. Check in time is late (4pm) with no chance of getting in earlier and 11am check out. So, really, you only get a 19 hour stay. It is a very walkable area. ,"

"I booked this stay through Expedia and overall there were several concerns. First, I was not aware at the time of booking that there would be an additional $50 holding fee/deposit required at check-in. There was no clear explanation provided regarding the purpose of the charge only that it should be refunded within 4 business days, so I recommend other travelers confirm this in advance to avoid surprises. The room itself also had a few maintenance issues. The toilet seat was not properly secured...
