"Had such a wonderful stay this weekend with friends! The room was incredibly cozy, clean, and well-maintained, which made it so easy to relax and enjoy our time. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, and the service truly stood out. We also loved the restaurant - great atmosphere and delicious, high-quality food. "My friend and I had a girlie two night break at this hotel and loved it. When we arrived the receptionist noticed I was using a walking aid and unprompted started looking to change our room to an accessible room eliminating needing to use stairs. We were very touched by his thoughtfulness. It was an upgrade to a suite which was outstanding and it really enhanced our comfort and experience. "We stayed in 2 separate rooms and both were very well presented and the decor was lovely. Very spacious rooms. The only thing I will say, on booking, the listing made it seem that the pool and hot tub was on site but it's at their sister hotel around the corner. "Beautiful country hotel, small and personal service, delightful comfortable en-suite rooms, warm inviting pool - often to ourselves, incredible top class gourmet food - formal dining and bar food served in the warm and cosy bar area or the relaxing lounge. So much choice at breakfast, all delicious, everything you could want. Can’t wait to go back in summer to enjoy the open terrace overlooking the pond. A real joy to stay here."

"Overlooking the sea. Excellent breakfast, best thing about the hotel. Last stayed at this hotel three years ago. Since then we noticed a big change in the hotel, especially the decoration and prices in the bar. Had a latte and half a pint of beer, cost £9.00 in cash!!!!! Was it pocketed or was I charged for one pint instead of half a pint?"
