"Very pleasant staff.Spacious clean, comfortable room,good WiFi,good tv. comfy bed, an ample,comfortable sofa and lovely bathroom with good quality towels.Large walk in shower with ample hot water and flow. Ample parking right outside the hotel with no extra charge to use. A Morrisons right next door which also had a filling station and 24 hour small shop. The communal area had tv. screens so you could enjoy sports etc. and the self service buffet breakfast was good but the range of food apart...

"The corridors smell of dirty carpets and our rooms aircon was not working. They didn't offer any compensation or change of rooms, just brought a fan. Otherwise just an average business hotel."

"The staff, in particular, the receptionists including the charming Lithuanian girl, were so helpful and informative. The food was pretty good as well and well presented. Having had to slum it in a rival establishment a few years’ ago, when there was no room at Poets Corner, it was a relief to note how well looked after we were."

"On check in the gentleman was cheerful and helpful. Explained night porter service, bar and food times and where n when breakfast was with no prompts. Bar staff were cheerful and amenable. Parking was easy and plentiful. Hotel guest parking is free. Had an evening meal which was good. Bar runs a happy hour. Breakfast is continental and cooked. Cooked breakfast is prepared to order and arrived hot and perfectly cooked 5*"

"When something goes wrong there is no one to sort it out. We arrived Tuesday late afternoon and found our tv was not working, we told the girls cleaning the rooms the following day as we were leaving who made the comment “ that’s another one to add to the list “"

"Our arrival was admittedly very late - 2.30am. TV in our room did not work at all. The 24 hr Receptionist could not communicate so unable to help about the TV. Breakfast was self service Toast/Strawberry Jam and Cereals. Staff hardly any spoke English.We had to leave very early so no experience of whether the Bar was open or not. Very poor quality hotel so will not ever stay there again."
