"Beautiful cosy double room full of amenities, mini bar, fridge and Nespresso machine, and fresh milk! Lovely modern bathroom. Rooms hot in the heatwave we are experiencing but a fan was provided and I took my own. Hotel provided extra bottled cold water to help which was a nice touch. Loved the local honey given as a gift in the rooms. Had dinner and breakfast. Both very good. Lovely staff team too. Would highly recommend"

With this comes issues with either a very steep staircase up to the rooms or use of an emergency exit at the rear (which is made of metal steps with a precarious old mat dangerously situated at the top). The room was lovely but it was very hot as situated above the kitchen. The weather was forecasted to be 28/29 degrees and I had to ask for a fan. "The rooms are beautifully presented and the amenities were really nice. For a travel stop it was very convenient and the staff are friendly. The carpets in the rooms are suffering from wear and tear and could do with a better clean. The rooms needs a bit more of a clean in general. The shower also started dripping in both rooms (which were at other ends of the property) at around 3am which woke us up. "I didn’t realise upon booking that the hotel has no A/C throughout, my room was 27 degrees, woke up at 2 am due to it being red hot and went and sat near reception as it was around 10 deg lower than the room, there was a free standing fan in the room which looked like it had done a few rounds with Mike Tyson, then just to top it off the fridge didn’t work at all, and when we reported it nothing was done. "I've stayed at the hotel many times in the past before it became a Warner hotel. Although the facilities are still excellent I was a bit disappointed in the quality of the food in the Market Street restaurant (both evening meal and breakfast). Perhaps it was just that the previous standard as a business hotel was higher than current. We also could not get air-conditioning working in our room ((2021) this appeared to of been a problem for a number of the visitors."

"Loved to beautiful property and fantastic breakfast. Only downside is no air conditioning and pool access is limited to early closing so we could never get to pool after day out as a family."

"Please note this property sometimes pops up on Searches specifying Air conditioning.. The Property has Approx 94 Room Apparently Only 5 currently have A/C So ur chances of getting one R slim Added 2 that they recently quoted me an Extra £25 for an A/C Room So perhaps one 2 save 4 Winter"
