The room fit and fondue do not reflect the price - layouts are quite strange, ie. no sink on the same floor as the toilet and shower. "I had a really great stay at Villa Maïa in Lyon. The hotel sits up on Fourvière Hill, so the views over the city are absolutely beautiful, especially in the morning and at sunset. The room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed without feeling over the top. "Very nice hotel and staff was excellent. We booked a Jr Suite with river view, which was plenty large for France, however the road below is extremely busy and very loud. There is also very limited privacy in the bathroom. Shower is wide open and the toilet area has smoked glass providing limited privacy. "

"The rooms were ok pretty clean but for being so new already had grout missing in the tile. If you are staying for a rugby match 10/10 on location. If there for the city and you do not have a car it is not an ideal location. Luckily we had a rental car so it was perfect for us."
