We would prefer a king-size but there would be less space around the bed. The mattress was very soft and not supportive. It was awkward, as people with reduced mobility, to sit on the side of the bed...my partner slid off. Also the bedside tables are tiny. More space is needed for medical equipment used at night plus a...

"Room was shabby, furniture scratched and well-worn. Bathroom icy cold. However, on bringing these points to the attention of the staff, a heater was delivered - thank you. Obviously there was no quick solution to the shabbiness of the room (suite 2 Manor House). Some of the food was poor, but again on raising this, staff dealt with it. On balance, we feel the staff did what they could to manage our concerns."

"Rooms are on 2 different levels so very quiet. We stayed in room 2 which was lovely, with tea & coffee etc and very welcome biscuits. No need to bring shower products as they are all provided. Breakfast was excellent with a choice of items (ordered the night before). The fruit salad was fab & I can highly recommend the omelette! My husband had the full English, which he really enjoyed. Offered more tea/coffee & toast. The hosts Jane & Mark were lovely and very helpful regarding the local area...

"The Boathouse (or to people like me who haven’t been in Norfolk for 15 odd years - the former Eels Foot) is a fantastic location for short or longer stays, with the broads, Great Yarmouth, Norwich and north Norfolk all easily reachable from here. The pub / restaurant is beautiful, and serves excellent food. Breakfast is a-la-carte and is excellent for the price. Mike, the proprietor, is a great host and was extremely helpful in helping us to plan the remaining days of our trip. Highly recommend!"

"This hotel is very well situated, the parking is a bonus and the views from the restaurant are stunning. The food was well cooked and the waiting staff were very friendly and helpful. We appreciated the age of the building and the reason why there was no lift but we struggled somewhat to lug two suitcases up to the top floor as our room was in the converted attic. The view from the room was great and the room itself was spacious, it could have benefited from a fridge and some of the roller...

"Accommodation within student campus, run well and always happy to stay here. Basic and dated but if you just looking for a no frills bed for the night then its perfect"
