"Nice room. Breakfast overpriced with no reduction for continental option - we didn't choose this and went to the local cafe! Dinner was a shambles. Clearly a good chef and helpful and hard-working staff .... but spoilt by lack of management and understaffing."

"Comfortable cosy stay in lovely, clean cottage which is dog friendly. Situated minutes from shops meaning you can easily get your essentials or grab a drink in a lovely pub. Nice location and suitable base to drive to other parts of the region. The cottage was clean and presented as described. WiFi was excellent throughout ( I know that’s required for some, but not us) Has a small back garden, which is gated and perfect for dogs to stretch their legs."

I phoned to say that I would be late for final check in (10pm) and Alexandra, the lovely lady on the front desk, made sure I was checked in dignity and made me feel so safe about arriving late. "AVOID THE HOTEL VERSION OF A SUPERMARKET SELF SERVICE TILL. No staff AT ALL on site. You’re sent a code to get in. The room was horrid. Broken bed, rips in curtain. "We loved our stay at this gem of a BnB. The massive bed and the hearty breakfast gave us the energy to explore the area and made any jet lag a non-issue. Sue and Gary are wonderful hosts and provide as little or as much interaction as you want and were very helpful with ideas for locale, especially dinner. Sawby is a cute English town and the locals were very friendly when we went for walks."

"Parking was good, right outside our room. Staff were very friendly and nice. There was a good choice for breakfast of cooked and cereal. The room was clean, did notice a couple of spiders, one small one in the bath which was easily washed down the bath and one above the wardrobe storage, which didn't cause any problems. "Very clean hotel, exceptional service"

"First, the room was not as advertised on the number of people who could sleep in it I had to pay for another room for my kids. After, that we settled in and noticed the rooms were not cleaned. The bedding,floor and toilet was had dirt from the previous guest in fact I was too ashamed to let the staff know after paying extra money had to leave the next day as early as possible. "
