"This hotel is ok but needs a little maintenance. The rooms are spacious and clean. The advantage is that you are across the street from the beach which is very convenient."

"This is decent place to stay if you’re in town for business or want to have easy access to Ala Moana shopping center. The pool and fitness center are unimpressive and not worth paying a resort fee for. The rooms are clean but very small and the walls are thin. Staff is very friendly and the location is great for shopping."

"Nice resort. Bell staff is amazing. Front desk staff operates like a high volume resort - No deviations and minimal explanations- have to figure things out in your own. Definitely buy the breakfast buffet - staff there is absolutely amazing and food is great."

"The room was gorgeous! Bravo for the elevated and tasteful decor. The exterior does need a little facelift here and there as it is an older hotel, but there is a "classic," old Hawaii charm about it. Bell Attendant was a bit pushy when we did not let him take our bags before check in - asking repeatedly - when guaranteed check in was only 30min out. Other than that, the staff at the Veranda was so nice and cheerful and dinner at Arancino was amazing. This is a great option to stay outside of Waikiki."
