"We checked in one hour early and they held our bags until our room was available. The room with King bed was big considering this was England & our rooms are usually shoebox size!!We enjoyed lunch & breakfast at their restaurant. You can walk to town for the mall and loads of eateries. We took an Uber to the port the next day for boarding which was reasonable & quick for our Cunard ship. Only thing I noticed not exactly right was a $44 charge when we checked out. Not clear on that as I thought...
"Would def stay again. Note that there is no AC in this hotel. They do provide a fan but it was quite warm even with. Kudos for doing their best given the heat.
Stayed here for one night prior to cruising — can walk to cruise ship from hotel no problem. Lots of things to in the area. Very close to Southampton central station as well.
