"I am frugal when it comes to hotels. My wife and 12yo both asked 'are you sure this is the right hotel? ' when we entered the room. Location isn't the best but it's interesting. The amount of wildlife we was from the parking lot - alligators and a giant egret nest was amazing BUT it is across the bridge from Hilton Head peoper. There are some great restaurants close to the hotel--The Cotton Exchange being one. I did have a problem with my reservation because I added an additional night under a separate reservation; however, the reservations manager figured it out after some time.
