"We usually stay here on our way home from Myrtle Beach. The motel is right off of Rt. 77 and 81. The rooms are clean, roomy, and comfortable. The staff are helpful and courteous. "The property was OK. I would not say an 8 out of 10. The hotel needs an update in several places. I did not even know how to turn the shower on. It had some weird handle. You had to spin several times to get the water to turn on. The carpet in the room just seemed dirty. I was afraid to walk on it, barefoot. I have stayed in several Days Inn hotels , this was do-able but I was not happy that I thought it was an 8.4 hotel before I checked in. Breakfast was OK there was no yogurt, sausages eggs...

"There’s no other option to stay overnight in Sparta except the Allegheny Inn. It’s nothing special and the bathrooms are really small so if you’re heavyset, you might wanna ask for a a room with a larger bathroom the sheets were clean, but there was a stain and there was some hair in the drain of the bathtub that was not mine.! there was coffee in the lobby but only powdered creamer. It’s not pet friendly so no no pets allowed. The good news is there’s a nice little restaurant that’s right in...

"Drawers in the room were not clean. Papers from last visitor including sugar packets and coffee straws were in the drawers. Pool was green - sort of like the the reflecting pool in Washington DC. I had so looked forward to a nice swim after my long trip. Was not aware the facility would be under construction. Breakfast was very good Staff was friendly"

"Everything was great on our stay there, especially for the price! The pool wasnt functional at the time, but we wasnt there at the motel to even notice due to us being somewhere else. But at night, everything was quite and relaxing."
