"Ideally situated for us to get to the main attractions near by. Plenty of car parking spaces. Reception very helpful. My room was very spacious bed a bit on the hard side but there’s nothing like your own bed. Bathroom en-suite and both were immaculately clean. We ate at the hotel and that was also of a good standard. Would definitely recommend and stay again."

"Excellent location, staff were amazing, attentive, willing to go above and beyond in terms of service, the room was lovely and clean. I would highly recommend. My only criticisms are that the soap in the shower was clearly watered down. Also it would have been helpful to have been notified that there is a car park right next door to the hotel which is cheaper (even once the hotel discount is added) but much closer than the recommended Q-Park one and you don’t have to book it online. "Room was in good condition. One of the bed side lights was hanging off. Bathroom clean and great pressure from the shower, with a large walk in shower facility. Breakfast is excellent!!!! There was only one member of staff on for our check in, no staff at the bar. She was great but was doing too much. "

"This was one of the best family rooms we have stayed in. With two teenage boys, the room had two separate bedrooms. Very spacious, clean and comfy beds. The staff were friendly and welcoming especially Ellie."

"This hotel was perfect for our overnight stay. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and go out of their way to help. Our room was clean and comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom which although clean needed a refurb as there was mould all over the ceiling, a crack in the sink, etc. "

"Room was tidy but a bit worn in places, shower wasn’t very warm, property itself was a bit run down, and there was a strong smell of cigarettes on entry and through out the hotel, room was fresh though But the staff were lovely, breakfast was brilliant, out the way off the main road and quiet at night bed was very comfy! Stayed for a wedding reception, the event room was really nicely decorated and spacious! Bar a bit pricey though £5 pint of coke! "
