"Room was freshly decorated and generally very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Lighting could have been a little brighter. It was cold near the poorly fitting single glazed window. Breakfast was excellent, served by a delightful member of staff. "

"Great except for one thing - they were closed from 3 to 5 in the afternoon with no way of getting a key to our room. It would be useful if they could devise a system so that keys are available in this critical time in the afternoon so that people can gain access to their room and relax before the facilities open at 5 PM. Other than the above, all was excellent. "

"Lovely pub and very nice room looking over the water and the nearby marina with a big comfortable bed and beautiful spacious bathroom. All the staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The weather was very ‘British’ (wet and windy!) during our short stay, so we loved the cosy ambience of the bar and the beautiful open fire. "Daisybank cottage is a must for anyone looking to stay in the New Forest. The room was perfect - spacious, spotless and huge fluffy towels in the bathroom. Lovely touches in the room and so thoughtful. Great breakfast and friendly welcome. Its perfect for various walks without the car to get to start points, and close to pubs and eateries nearby.
