"The property is not far from Brighton City Centre. The price was reasonable. We did not have dinner there, but the breakfast was excellent, good menu with lots of choices. It was good quality food and delicious. We would be happy to use the hotel again."

"Lovely hotel, lovely staff, good pub. We had a nice stay. Unfortunately, we were there when temperatures were 30C and above, and there is no air conditioning, making the nights difficult. Also, they could improve the quality of their linens. Sheets are a bit scratchy."

"Hotel was in a great location, being close to the town centre and the sea front and the seaview was very nice. Breakfast was good and the staff were good throughout. The room had a huge en-suite bathroom which was finished to a very high standard and was very nice. The bedroom was ok but not to the same high standard as the bathroom and view of the sea was somewhat spoilt by the view of a poor condition balcony. The bed, although large, was not comfortable with both of us awaking early with back...

"It's a great location. Quiet, but near the shops and seafront. Very helpful staff and a comfortable room. Not a big room, but what you'd expect for a period property like this. The place itself is very stylish and well decorated."

"Secure parking, very pleasant and accommodating staff, given upgrade to log cabin on check in. Price included breakfast, which was of excellent choice, freshly prepared. "We booked a luxury double. It was a very small room. The furniture was a bit tired and had some stains on the chair. Not enough ventilation as could hardly open the windows. No hairdryer in room had to ask for one. Wasn’t worth the money we paid. Didn’t have breakfast. No parking. Wouldn’t stay there again as I know there are cheaper and better places."
