The room was nice however I would say the food is good but overpriced and the bar prices are extremely expensive for a rural bed-and-breakfast, almost 8 pounds for a pint of lager seems excessive. £14 for a full English breakfast with one egg, one rasher of bacon, and one sausage But overall, a nice location and a nice little hotel"

"Cozy hotel with very sympathetic and welcoming staff. It feels very much like home. The rooms are fine and clean. Their restaurant has a menu with good options for lunch and dinner. It does not have a lift, so, if carrying heavy luggage, it might be a little effort. The curtains in the bathroom could be a little thicker to make the shower experience more pleasant. Otherwise, I only have compliments on the quality of the premises, the service and the personnel. "

The only reason that I reduced my review is because there was an unsightly mark on the sheet and I think people should pay more attention when they make the bed cause this was not very pleasant at all I was woken late that night by people talking outside my room. I don’t quite know why, and obviously nobody can do anything about that except the guests themselves by being more considerate. With luck it’s just an exception."

"It was used just for a stopover. Didn't arrive in the room until late. However I would recommend the following three issues are addressed. The matress on the single bed is so thin you can feel the frame beneath. The shower doors do not move freely and the bathroom door does not close."

"The room was very spacious with all amenities needed available in the room. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable. The entire property was very well decorated and the stay was really quiet. The property is also very close to the train station and local pubs and takeaway. We will be staying again"

"Right next to the train station! Great location for pubs - we found a nice restaurant (salt and charcoal) the last night we were there Staff of hotel are wonderful- breakfast is wonderful We had trouble getting our room cleaned - I guess they give them weekends off "
