"Breakfast was ok, staff really good friendly and helpful but the property leaves a lot to be desired. Very dated and in real need of modernisation. We booked a room with a 4 poster bed then on arrival were told we had a free upgrade to a 4 poster room.... Strange seeing as that's what we requested anyway. Room was at best ok. "Upon checking in I checked that it was a twin room or the beds could be split as requested. The request had not been received but the staff were accommodating and changed our room for us without any problem, they were kind and considerate and gave us a large 3 sleeper room. The room was very clean, just a few dusty areas on plugs and toilet roll holder and a stained net curtain however, the floor was quite uneven which was a bit disorientating but no major complaints.
