"Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the welcome gift was a thoughtful touch. The location was also great, with the town centre within walking distance, making it easy to get around. The only issue was with the parking information. The listing stated that parking was available, but I later found out that it is only provided for guests staying 7 nights or more. This restriction was not mentioned in the listing, so it would be helpful if this could be clarified...

"We had a great stay during the very hot UK weather. The cottage stayed comfortable and relatively cool though as it is well sheltered and shaded. Comfortable sofas and beds, well equipped kitchen, good water pressure for the showers and simple check in and check out process. A quick 5 - 10 min walk in to town and a moderate climb back up which wasn't too bad. Plenty of beaches, shops and bars near by and a great convenient location in St Ives to stay. "This property is fabulous but it is marketed through so many "middle men" that is what the owner needs to be careful of. In order to make this booking i booked it via Expedia, however they are just advertisers it seems, because Sykes Cottages are then the agents who email you the confirmation and worryingly take full advance payment despite the listing being "pay on arrival" on Expedia. I logged complaints with both Expedia and Sykes Cottages about the false advertising of the payment schedule...
