"We stayed in a superior double room very large room and massive bathroom - no air con but there was a floor standing fan each side of the bed so nice touch - lovely breakfast room and good selection - the negatives no wardrobe just a small rail with a couple of hangers but ok if it’s just for 1 night - no laundry bag"

"We stayed here leading up to our wedding and it was a 10/10 stay. They gave us complimentary sparkling wine, flowers, and a hand illustrated congratulations card! Hotel feels newly renovated but still has classic countryside boutique flare. Family room was very spacious for us. Wonderful, super friendly staff! Emberwood was an excellent restaurant directly tied into the hotel. Location is very central but things are still quiet which is great. Will surely stay again if we are ever in town....

"This hotel is quite easy walking distance into the main "old" part of town ... Bath Abbey, Roman Baths, River Avon, multiple churches, tons of restaurants. We loved our spacious room with a gorgeous high ceiling and updated bathroom. It felt like pure luxury after our cramped stay in London. We chose to enjoy their breakfast after an early morning walk down the river and around the Royal Victoria Gardens. "In my booking confirmation via Expedia the price for parking was confirmed to be 30 GBP per night, which is already quite expensive. However upon arrival the price was 50 GBP per night, which is just useless. Other hotels are able to honor the price confirmed at the time of the booking for existing bookings also when the car park is managed through an external company. During our time in the hotel the lift was broken which was a major annoyance. The rooms are very small for a family with four...

"Very very difficult to get up to our room because of the multi levels of stairs but more importantly copious copious doorways that had to be unlocked to go through to next section. I understand the idea of safety but the situation was frustratingly comical- how laborious and time consuming it all was."
