We loved our stay at Rila! It was the best location for the slopes & we loved the huge variety of food we were offered for breakfast and dinner!
We loved the surprise of having a live singer in the lounge downstairs after dinner, it was a lovely addition to some of our evenings!
Our room was really spacious too & staff were really helpful at reception when we needed anything!

We had a warm and friendly welcome to the hotel. Very helpful and cheerful staff. We are a family of four adults and three children. The food was excellent for the adults. Good choice of meats and fresh vegetables. They had pasta with a sauce and pizza but I would suggest they add something like homemade chicken goujons for the children especially during school holidays. The swimming pool, like all others this time of year in Bulgaria, was cold to get into. The best way is to shower...

At this price point, Hotel Grand, in Samakov, is excellent value. The owner, Stanislav, was very helpful and gave us great service. The room was fine, the restaurant was fine, the bar was fine. There are 4 large supermarkets very near the hotel. We like supermarkets :) We had a great, comfortable stay. Thank you Stanislav and your team :)

The hotel is situated in the mountains. We travelled here by the vintage narrow mountain train and arrived at a derelict train station. I contacted the hotel who kindly organised a taxi collection for us. The hotel is clean and the room was really nice and the bed is comfortable. I like the fact the hotel provide a bowl of fresh fruit in the room. The hot spring pools were lovely and great they stay open until 8pm. The restaurant food was really nice and also reasonably priced. The breakfast...

The hotel was amazing, the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout our whole stay. The location was nice and quiet, but the shuttle busses that the hotel offers to Bansko makes it so convenient for a perfect holiday. Easy to get to the ski resort, and relaxing.

Amortized standard room, need slight renovation especially on the blanckets. It looks more like a 4* hoteland definitely not 5*.
The breakfast was poor on variety of food and the restaurant is small for the entire hotel. The food quality was so-so.

hotel facilities were great and lots to choose from. shuttle from hotel to the mountain was great and convienent. runs every hour from 8.30 till 10.30 saving time queuing at the gondola lift. has a ski store room which sets everything in no time. rooms are comfortable and has it's own kitchen. very clean and tidy hotel. spa is fantastic for winding down after a day in the mountains and the restaurants are great serving, quality food.

Very clean, quiet, warm and well run. Illiya and Katya are very friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome and valued. Llinden House is only 5 or 8 minutes from the centre of town on foot, and about 1.5km walk from the Ski Gondola up the main street, so quite and interesting walk with many shops, bars and restaurants. Good sized rooms, our beds were comfortable.
