"The staff were great. The valet was awesome. Very clean rooms. Perfect service."

"The property was perfect. Clean, well maintained and the staff was kind and always ready to help. The only thing we had to watch the charges on our bill. For some reason they were charging an extra $10 a day for Valet parking. They were apologetic and fixed the problem daily."

"This is a nice hotel with great views (ocean view side). I took off 1 star due mainly to the breakfast being a little disappointing. The pastries were small and seemed like the plastic wrapped kind you might get at a convenience store, and overall the options were pretty limited."

"The hotel is very dated but location is super. Nice employees. Parking was difficult as the farmer's market was going on. Suggestion: have employees parking on street so parking is available to guests. Breakfast was good but we had to ask for yogurt/fruit. Most people didn't even know they offered it. It was very good. We also had to ask for a glass of wine at early evening hour. Maybe have a bottle of wine and glasses out would have been better organized? Or a note saying ask front...

"Had a wonderful stay. I requested an upper floor room with ocean view and I wasn’t disappointed. John and Carol at front desk were always helpful and friendly. Room was clean, location within walking distance to aquarium and cannery row. Short drive to Carmel. Only issues were cable would go out sometimes and kids yelling and running around in courtyard. Luckily that stopped at 830. Overall was a great stay. "

"This is one of the prettiest places to stay in Pacific Grove. I love the charming cottages and the beautiful hanging flower displays that adorn each one. The vibrant flowers add so much character and beauty to the property👌♥️"

"Staff was great, super accommodating very friendly. We needed to book an extra night that we didn’t plan for and they made it easy. It’s an older place built in the 60s very well maintained property with super comfortable beds and they seem to go out of their way to make our stay pleasant. Thank you we would definitely stay with you again. Also, very great location five minutes away for everything that you want to do."

"Nice private room for the price! Parking spots are really tight but there’s a good bit of parking on the street if you’re worried about fitting in compact spots. Plenty of restaurants and activities nearby in walking distance. Check-in is over the phone and you have to give credit card info for $100 deposit, but it’s pretty straightforward. Definitely not the most pristine room ever, but once again for our short stay and the price it was perfect. WiFi is spotty, but we spent most of our time out...

"Our family had a great stay! I was absolutely shocked by how easy the check in process was! Take advantage of the online check in before. The staff are all very kind and seem genuinely happy to be there. Everyone slept great and a requested crib was already in our room. Coffee is always available in the lobby and there are many options for breakfast. We really appreciated that even though check in was at 4, we could still park early and walk around.
