"We booked this hotel not 24 hours before we attempted to cancel. I do realize, the hotel was nonrefundable, but typically under circumstances involving airports and such, a refund is given. This hotel refused our refund Expedia requested, even though they had advance notice & it was literally just booked hours prior. I would think an airport hotel would be a little more accommodating to returning guest, but I guess they needed that money for a vacant room more than our future business....

"The location was convenient, just off I-85, which made it a good stop for our long drive home. We did not have high expectations since we were only planning to stay one night, get some rest, and continue the remaining six hours of our trip.
