"Very conveniently located.. We did silver river kayaking, dune climb and sleeping bear dune climb at scenic drive. All are within 2-3 miles distance and we were able to come back in middle of day after one activity to relax a bit, wash off sand, take shower .. which was very nice... Owner was excellent too.. "we were looking for just a couple nights close to Sleeping Bear area to hike and bike and this location was perfect. We had a room on the upper level getting a cooler up the stairs was a challenge but not a deal breaker for sure, and BTW we are active seniors so that might not be any problem for younger people. "Cold shower two days. They said the handle was put on improperly and would work if I turned the other way. It did not. I booked non refundable so couldn’t get out of my extra night. They didn’t provide shampoo. The gym does not include weights. I will not be staying in a Baymont by Windham ever again."
