"Superb hotel full of character. Our room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. We dined in the restaurant and were very impressed with the choice offered particularly for my husband who is coeliac and has to have gluten free. Every member of staff we engaged with were so polite and friendly. Our stay was an absolute delight."

"Beautiful building and grounds. The staff were fantastic and very welcoming. The hotel is very dog friendly. We had a room with a door to a private patio and access to the gardens. Our wee dog absolutely loved it. The gym is ok for a hotel, with a decent amount of weights and a few cardio machines. The highlight had to be the incredible food we had for dinner. "We stayed for a couple of nights. The room was incredibly comfortable and quiet, certainly the best night's sleep we've had in local hotels in the area. The dinner menu is a bit limited, although the pizzas were good. They have just added cooked items to the breakfast but have a complicated charging system. Preferable just to add an extra amount to the b & b rate. The local countryside is lovely we had a couple of walks after dinner."

"1) the mattress will seem comfortable. 2) for breakfast I ordered pastries for my room.. I also reminded them again before the bar closed. They said that they would be deliver this to my room. This never happened."
