"It was handy for a local wedding but that’s really the only positive I can mention. The room we were allocated was right above the lounge area facing into the carpark and was the least soundproofed room I’ve ever slept in. We were woken up at 6.45am on a Sunday morning with loud music coming from the breakfast room down below meaning after a wedding we had no lie in. The throw over the sofa in the room was shabby and felt unclean. The bed was uncomfortable and no thought put into lighting,...

"This Preier Inn is in a great location - fairly easy train ride into Glasgow and quick access to head north of the city. The property is nice. In a heat wave, there’s no good way to cool the place down, so after one hot day, the room was too warm for the rest of our stay."

"This is the second time we've stayed at this hotel and it just gets better. My only disappointment was we were only staying for one night and not many more. The staff are outstanding in their friendliness and helpfulness. Our room was amazing too! We were visiting family in the area so it was only a short walk from the hotel. We will definitely be back."

"This was my second stay at this hotel. The hotel is very clean with stylish decor. The staff are polite and helpful. The room is very well decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. The food in the restaurant was of a very high standard , and well priced for such high quality food. The bar area has a nice chilled atmosphere, I did'nt want to leave there , as it was such a nice place to drink and eat. The only suggestion would be to have a mini bar in the room with a selection of drinks and...

"Heater resets itself back to 17c so had to keep bumping it back up. A couple minor bug bites in the morning. Paid $130 for one night but a fairer price for what you get should be half that price at most."

"The family room was just an “accessible” room. It was not set up great. The bathroom was not user friendly for us. The room was missing towels (which we didn’t realize until very late in the evening) and the floors were stained with lots of pink spills and also other spills along the floorboards. (Which were not clean)."

"Baking hot concrete block next door to a demolitions site with noisy heavy machinery working and my windows obscured by thick grime. The air conditioning didn't work and looked as though it was decommissioned long ago. The bathroom taps were difficult to turn off and I was fearful of a flood…. Maintenance generally seemed poor…. Fitting and carpets were pretty much worn out…. Curtains didn’t quite cover the windows to exclude light…. Uncomfortable stay and not cheap. I was glad to leave."
