"The Delta King provided a delightful alternative to a sterile hotel environment. It is an old converted river ship with gorgeous woodwork and features like a pull-chain toilet and 2 shower knobs to adjust hot and cold with good water pressure. The restaurant was good and the staff extremely attentive, friendly and interactive. Our room, while small, was clean and more than adequate with a great view of the river. "The location was great, there was a lot to do, places to visit and really good restaurants. The property is older and in my opinion needs some attention. Staff was great and hotel was neat, carpet was older than I’m used to but as clean as it could be for it’s age. "

"A little gem of a stay in the historic poverty ridge district. The penthouse is converted attic space that sleeps four easily. There is coffee tea and water all day and a simple continental breakfast. historic home, but we had plenty of hot water for showers. Short a few bathroom towels for our stated number of guests, sure we could have asked for more but we were just here for one night. The grounds are beautifully maintained. Glad to have found this gem. "

"It is a smaller hotel. There are homeless people outside everywhere and you’re in the same parking lot as a gas station. Basically the location is actually good for downtown. It’s very very close like 1 mile our window in our room did not shut and lock so that was a concern of mine, but fortunately nothing happened. "
