"Lovely hotel with friendly staff. The hotel is a beautiful hotel which was built in the 1500's. If you have mobility issues, it may not be for you as there is no lift and there are quite a lot of stairs, but it was a lovely building to stay in. The bed was comfy and I was at the top of the building so it was really quiet apart. "

"It was exactly what I needed for a long layover. Convenient. Staff was friendly. I actually didn’t mind the airplane noise (they’ve added a sort of second layer window I think? It helped block the sound). Most of the local restaurants had stopped serving food by the time I had arrived, but there was an Indian place 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel. Only downside was the fridge in the room wasn’t cold. For the price, will definitely stay there again. "

"Wir waren zum zweiten Mal im Skylark. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist nicht zu toppen. Das Frühstück vielfältig und lecker. Sehr schöner Wintergarten und Garten. Die Zimmer sind einfach eingerichtet, die Betten bequem. Toller Platz, um Flugzeuge zu fotografieren. Einen herzlichen Dank an das gesamte Personal, Ihr seid toll!"

"Ok not great not terrible. Very minimal you get a bed and room and access to bathroom and that’s about it. The rooms comfy and clean but both times I been here the other guests have been so loud. One seemed to be having an all night mini party and another left at 5am and seemed to slam doors for 30 mins and shouted outside. Not the owners fault but there’s no soundproofing the walks are thin so be prepared if you stay there as it’s be of those airport spots where people come and go all night. "
