"What an absolute gem of a property! I come to Hove for business and have always stayed quite some distance away (Hayward Heath) due to the lack of secure parking at most properties in the area. So to find this fabulous property so close to my customer’s site was fantastic. Off street parking on the drive of the property means no hunting for a parking space. "Clean room, friendly staff "

"Very run down with no signs of trying to fix anything. Friendly enough staff, but clueless. I had to move rooms after the first night. The radiator in room 218 couldn't be turned off and it was 25 degrees. The ceiling in the bathroom has water damage from above and the plaster was cracked and falling down. The second room I was given, room 317, had more problems. The window had broken seals, so let in a lot of wind and noise from the street. I found 2 empty Absolut vodka bottles wedged...

"Here’s a polished version that keeps it honest but reads more smoothly: Stayed one night in a family room with my two teenage sons. The room had one double and two single beds, with tea and coffee provided. We had a lovely sea view, which was a real highlight. The room was clean, with fresh towels and bed linen. It's a little dated and tired and could be very nice but lots of things were off - door handles loose, loo roll holder hanging off, no sockets by the bed (essential in this day and age no?) But yes brekkie was very good, plentiful and tastes good, great transport links in to the city and "

"My husband and I stayed on a Saturday night in November as a birthday treat. We stayed in the loft suite. This room is clean, cosy beautifully decorated. The bathroom is amazing ! We absolutely loved the jetted bathtub. It really was a selling point for us. Breakfast was very nice. Lovely fresh eggs. We enjoyed having our own private dining toom too. Paul was very nice and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be coming back again. Thank you ."
