"Great enclosed rooftop Bar, breakfast really good"

"Check in was with an ipad and wanted me to pay again. i had to go in and get help. the first room was ok. beds and pillows comfy. but got up to get ready for my brothers funeral to find no hot water for a shower and breakfast was a microwaved sandwich - which we refused. we went elsewhere for breakfast at a local cafe. we went back to the hotel to move rooms - still no hot water. We were told by a young lady that she could do nothing about the hot water. i washed my hair with cold water and went to the funeral. we got back to the second room and was told that the water was fixed. i did get a hot shower that night. i will not be going back to this hotel. "

"Lovely seaview the staff were lovely. Very clean but It is a bit tired as all hotels show original photos. I dont believe they should be able to do that. I would go back again if going to the cliffs pavilion as its very close."

"The staff were very good and evening meal and breakfast very nice. Very disappointed with the fact the key card holder said the bar opened TV12 noon on Saturday but when we asked staff they said it was not open until 3pm. We had arranged to meet friends in the bar at 12 noon so we all had to go into town before the football match which was the purpose of our stay. Maybe someone can amend the information."

"Excellent value for money. Room clean, roomy and welcoming. It's not 5 star, but for the price superb and breakfast was fantastic. Can't fault the place."

"We were late for breakfast but there was still a full choice of tasty wholesome food available . Bed very comfortable . Room clean and tidy. Staff were smiley and helpful where necessary. Great location for motorway links etc yet no traffic noise . The only negative experience we had was the car park arrangements charging £5 per night and feeling worried about being fined for overstay / incorrect parking etc. We will look elsewhere on our next visit to Chatham . "

"The primary purpose of a hotel is to sleep away from home. Do not skimp on pillows and mattresses. Theirs were lumpy, old, worn, instituional. I would expect a higher standard in prison or Butlins. It's a relatively quick a cheap fix, please sort it out."
